A nonprofit organization specializing in research and consulting is in need of a Remote Public Health Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Optimizing the web front end for maximum speed and scalability
  • Evaluating new or alternative data processing techniques

Qualifications Include:

  • BS or MS degree in computer science
  • 2+ years of experience working on Java applications
  • Strong knowledge of Object Orientated Programming, and experience with multiple databases
  • Experience working with Javascript, HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, JSON, Ajax, CORS
  • Experience with design and implementation of sites, workflows and dashboards
  • Broad base of software development experience
