Remote Public Relations and Media Specialist

Job Summary

A health services company has a current position open for a Remote Public Relations and Media Specialist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Fielding and responding to inbound media inquiries
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with relevant national and trade press
• Write copy for bylined articles, conference speaking submissions, paid advertising promotions, and web pages

Qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, public relations, health policy, public policy, or related discipline
• 3 – 5 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or a similar marketing role
• Demonstrated interest in healthcare, health policy, and/or the life sciences industry
• High level of initiative and ability to work independently
• Strong writing skills and experience writing in multiple formats
