Job Summary
A social change public relations firm needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Public Relations Manager in the New York City Metro Area.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Performing day-to-day account management
- Participating in the development of PR plans
- Preparing regular status and activity reports
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 5+ years paid experience in public relations
- Strong media relations skills.
- High comfort level with social media, as it relates to creating awareness for leaders and organizations
- Possesses existing relationships with local and national media contacts
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Familiarity with Cision, Vocus or similar tools
