Job Summary

A multi-faceted financial agency has an open position for a Remote Public Relations Senior Communications Specialist in Des Moines.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Writing and editing a variety of communications materials including talking points, media pitches, social media posts, articles, and presentations on industry and Principal-specific topics for external audiences
• Measuring the effectiveness of PR and media efforts, providing counsel where adjustment may be needed
• Producing data-driven reports to advance strategic decision-making leveraging services like Edelman Intelligence

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years related Public Relations experience
• Experience in media relations, corporate public relations or agency experience preferred. Asset Management industry experience is a plus
• Experience writing and editing all forms for a variety of audiences, including for social and digital platforms
• Demonstrated project management and organizational capabilities with the ability to meet deadlines
• Experience working in variety of content production, and publishing programs
