Job Summary
A software technology company with open source tools that help develop and deploy large-scale service-oriented software installations has an open position for a Remote Public Sector and Federal Renewals Account Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Working closely with the Public Sector sales team and leadership to lead, manage and ensure book of renewals business is contracted on time and through required contracting vehicles
- Identifying areas of license expansion and potential renewal churn/risk weekly
- Managing customer contracting requirements from initial buy and follow-on years (contracts can change)
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability to negotiate all facets of renewal contracts using sound business judgment
- Experience with government contracting requirements, and prior experience with partners and value-added resellers (VARS)
- Experience leading customer retention and adoption for both On Prem & SaaS accounts/territories
- Advanced proficiency with contract renewal processes
- Proven team player mindset with a track record of building positive relationships with peers and cross-functional partners
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills taking personal initiative to identify areas of process improvement and efficiency
