Job Summary
A specialty healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Puerto Rico License Pharmacist.
Must be able to:
- Answer medication-related questions
- Outreach to nephrologists, primary care providers, and dialysis center staff for medication coordination
- Work collaboratively with care team members to address patient's social and medical needs holistically
Position Requirements Include:
- Puerto Rico License
- Pharmacy degree from an accredited pharmacy school recognized by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education
- Current BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
- Medication dispensing experience
- Ability to advise patient care team to evolve from a disease-oriented approach to a patient-centered approach with focus on prevention
- Ability to articulate various issues related to the drug process
