Job Summary
An e-commerce group is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Purchasing Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing and implementing purchasing strategies
- Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks
- Managing supplier relations and negotiating prices, timelines, etc
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 6+ years experience as Purchasing Manager for Retail companies
- Experience as a Supply Chain Manager / Purchasing Manager or in a similar position
- Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management
- Supervisory and management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Docs
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
