Job Summary
A biosciences company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Python Programmer Developer in Bethesda.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Refactoring or redesigning components of the DAS, which is a multiple-module Python software products
- Reviewing old and new code of the DAS, requiring understanding of the underlying mathematical principles
- Developing unit tests (with pytest) for the DAS
Position Requirements Include:
- 50% Remote
- Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or similar quantitative field required
- 5+ years of experience using Python for software development required
- 5+ years of software development in languages like C++ or Java, in addition to good knowledge of Python
- Mathematical, statistical, or computer science background required
