Job Summary

A specialty healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote QA Analyst in McLean.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Participating and providing input on story requirements, design, estimation and test approach discussions
  • Collaborating with the development team and business partners to ensure the scope of tests is comprehensive, and mitigating defects prior to testing
  • Creating test data sets which fully exercise data validation, reports and end-to-end system functionality

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (Information Technology)
  • 5+ years of professional work experience in IT field
  • 3+ years of prior experience in software QA in Datawarehouse BI projects or any modern web-based development environment
  • Proven good practical knowledge of relational databases (SQL)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of web application architecture and technologies, including multi-platform/browser support
  • Proven basic object-oriented programming/scripting skills
