Job Summary
A healthcare software development firm is in need of a Remote Quality and Release Engineering Manager.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Partner with Engineering and Product Management to plan, test, and ship releases
- Manage a QA team. Hire, onboard and manage a dedicated QA team responsible for releases and automation
- Own and revolve quality engineering automation (functionality testing, performance testing, and data quality testing)
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or Higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent degree, or equivalent industry experience
- Strong technical QA skills - programming languages: Javascript or Python/Java, automation frameworks: Protractor (preferred) or Selenium, broad knowledge of web services and distributed systems (databases, REST APIs, Single Page Applications, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of QA principles and processes
- Effective people, leadership, and communication skills
