Job Summary
A financial technology company has an open position for a Remote Quality Assurance Engineer in Austin.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Designing, developing, and implementing testing methods
- Designing and creating test strategies and test plans
- Compiling and preparing test documentation
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 0-2 years experience in a quality assurance or software testing role
- Design test cases and test suites based on business or compliance specifications
- Ability to troubleshoot and identify software defects in a multi-system environment
- Ability to analyze and associate risk in software defects
- Knowledge of networking and networking equipment, server and PC hardware AND
- Various platforms basic code/scripts, and basic database management
