Job Summary
An insurance company is filling a position for a Remote Quality Assurance Registered Nurse in Grand Junction.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Utilizing specialized clinical knowledge of physical and behavioral health care to support quality review
- Utilizing technical and professional experience to implement provider performance monitoring (QA) mechanisms
- Participating in or coordinating with other department projects as needed
Position Requirements Include:
- Some travel to job related meetings and activities is required
- Experience in ICD-10 coding
- 3 years of clinical experience
- Clinical RN with current, unrestricted license in CO
- 1 year experience with coordinating and monitoring projects and programs
- 1 year working in managed care or in the insurance industry
