Job Summary
A specialty healthcare company has a current position open for a Remote Quality Compliance Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Develop, initiate, maintain and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the overall compliance program
- Monitor and evaluate state program contracts and Medicaid regulatory requirements to inform program development and reporting needs
- Provide administrative oversight regarding Patient Surveys
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree, Nursing degree, or other comparable healthcare experience
- Experience with writing and implementing Policy and Procedures
- Experience with Project Management
- Minimum 2 years of experience with internal/external quality auditing
- Possess intermediate level of knowledge of all laws and regulations pertaining to guidelines of provider and/or healthcare care management
- NCQA accreditation survey experience, including submission of documents to accreditation agency
