Job Summary

A mortgage services company has an open position for a Remote Quality Control Home Mortgage Disclosure Act Underwriter.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Performing reviews of assigned samples of decisioned loan files
  • Preparing reports of audit results
  • Preparing a report of monthly findings

Qualifications Include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of underwriting experience in the retail mortgage lending industry
  • Working knowledge of HUD/FNMA.FHLMC/VA Eligibility guidelines
  • Ability to create reports with large amounts of data in Excel or Access
  • Working knowledge of loan processes and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel
