Job Summary

A mortgage company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Quality Control Underwriter.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Performing pre-funding and post-close regulatory compliance quality control audits
• Performing Pre-funding and post close credit quality control audits on residential mortgage loans
• Identifying red flags and escalate files for fraud review

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 5 -10 years in the mortgage industry
• 3-5 years Underwriting experience or other equivalent Processing or Quality Control experience
• Proficient in all current agency and regulatory compliance requirements
• Ability to meet established productivity standards while maintaining quality standards
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of mortgage lending, loan products, and operations
• Working knowledge of Excel and Word
