Job Summary
An automobile e-commerce company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Quality Engineering Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Championing the QE organization and quality metrics across the organization
- Establishing quality gates and quality best practices
- Working with feature teams and Quality managers to make teams understand quality is responsibility of the teams
Qualifications for this position include:
- Having a deep knowledge of automation at all software layers and CI/CD technologies
- Establishing key metrics for QE across the organization
- Having experience working in a matrix organization and on an Agile Scrum mode
- Taking full ownership of end-to-end and software component quality testing architecture
- Having experience in the development of quality metrics for system and software components
- Having the ability to conduct strategic management of all QE resources across Agile teams
