Job Summary

A consulting firm has an open position for a Remote Radiation Oncology Auditor.

Must be able to:

• Audit all E/M, CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, modifiers, units from the medical record documentation
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and standards related to health information and coding principles
• Provide written feedback of auditing results as needed

Position Requirements Include:

• Must be a certified coder through AAPC or AHIMA (CPC, COC or CCS credentials) for at least 5 years
• Must have experience with data entry of codes into a database and/or software tool
• A minimum of 7+ years’ experience required auditing CPT, E&M, Facility, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM codes from Radiation Oncology medical records
• Requires advanced technical knowledge in specific surgical, radiation oncology, and other medical specialties as assigned
• Experience in researching and applying coding rules and regulations
• Extensive knowledge of medical terminology
