Job Summary
A hospital and health system is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Radiology Patient Financial Clearance Representative I.
Must be able to:
- Contact patient as appropriate to obtain correct and updated information when necessary
- Assess the data required for authorization and securing sponsorship
- Arrange escalation process for clinics and clinicians to complete peer-to-peer appeal reviews
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 years working knowledge of patient registration, insurance verification, medical authorization processes
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, etc)
- Demonstrate communication, customer relations, and organizational skills
- Ability to complete work efficiently and problem solve independently
- Ability to complete work efficiently and problem solve independently and work well with a team
