Job Summary

An educational and therapeutic services company is in need of a Remote Radiology Patient Scheduler in San Diego County.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Scheduling all IR cases in two large healthcare facilities
• Triaging patient related questions and concerns
• Ensuring that patients have secured authorization and referrals

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Procedural Scheduling Experience with Cardiac Catheterization or Electrophysiology Procedures or Radiology or OR or Gastrointestinal or pain
• Previous scheduling & customer service experience in healthcare
• Cash handling/posting experience
• Knowledge of third party payors and insurance authorizations
• Answering phone calls and switchboard experience
