Job Summary
A financial services provider has a current position open for a Remote RCM Billing Specialist.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Adhering to strict metrics to bill all complete cases within 48 hours
- Managing the EDI function as it relates to electronic claims submission
- Maximizing utilization and EDI capabilities to enhance cash flow and minimize rejections and denials
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Experience with EDI management through a clearinghouse
- 3+ years of ASC/Hospital Billing and/or EDI Management
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Knowledge of carrier billing rules, modifiers and CPT/HCPCS rules
- Must have great attention to detail
