Remote Real Estate Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting Associate
Job Summary
A developer of an online real estate platform is seeking a Remote Real Estate Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting Associate.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Adhering to the quarterly timeline of deliverables to ensure timely filings
- Assisting with research, analysis, and implementing of new accounting policies and standards
- Ensuring financial statements, disclosures and MD&A are compliant with US GAAP and SEC requirements
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Active CPA license or actively pursuing completion of the CPA exam within 12 months of start date
- Minimum of 1-2 years of overall accounting and/or auditing experience
- Accountant with a solid understanding of SEC reporting and GAAP
- Detail-oriented, organized person
- Excellent communicator, with superb written and oral communication skills
