Remote Real Estate Software Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A software service for use in the real estate industry is in need of a Remote Real Estate Software Staff Accountant.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting in month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial close in compliance with US GAAP
• Preparing balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Assisting with month-end variance analyses

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
• 2+ years accounting experience
• Experience working at a Public Company
• Experience compiling, analyzing, and capturing insights from accounting transaction data to identify key drivers in variances
• Experience with Sage Intacct or other accounting systems (Netsuite)
• Ability to build relationships and effectively communicate, including cross-functionally, across an organization
