Job Summary
A software service for use in the real estate industry is in need of a Remote Real Estate Software Staff Accountant.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting in month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial close in compliance with US GAAP
- Preparing balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
- Assisting with month-end variance analyses
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- 2+ years accounting experience
- Experience working at a Public Company
- Experience compiling, analyzing, and capturing insights from accounting transaction data to identify key drivers in variances
- Experience with Sage Intacct or other accounting systems (Netsuite)
- Ability to build relationships and effectively communicate, including cross-functionally, across an organization
