Job Summary
The creator of a software platform that provides online self-scheduling and queue management for healthcare organizations has an open position for a Remote Reconciliation Payment Posting Specialist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Ensuring all payments are for all clients are reconciled daily
- Managing day to day payment posting process for all assigned clients
- Ensuring accuracy in payment posting by auditing all batches posted
Required Skills:
- Associate's degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of related experience as a payment poster in a healthcare billing office and/or accounting experience
- Proficient in Windows based application and MS Office software products
- Understanding of medical billing terminology and insurance laws/guidelines preferred, but trainable
- Customer service driven
- Strong interpersonal skills that result in good relationships with key stakeholders
