Remote Recovery Specialist

Job Summary

To support the collection of past due accounts, the part-time Remote Recovery Specialist will negotiate payments, assess consumer financial conditions, and maintain customer accounts while working remotely with potential onsite training in Houston.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and process payments for delinquent balances through direct customer contact
• Conduct thorough inquiries to assess consumers' financial conditions and determine reasons for delinquency
• Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and ensure compliance with collection regulations

Required qualifications

• High school diploma; some college preferred
• Outgoing, assertive, and competitive personality
• Ability to acquire strong negotiation skills
• Detail-oriented with accurate documentation capabilities
• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends
