Job Summary
A manufacturer of packaging products needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Regional Account Manager.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide effective strategic and tactical sales direction and communications strategies to defend existing business, improve profitability of existing business, and to profitably develop new business
- Implement strategy, business and marketing plans for assigned accounts including market research, competitive intelligence, product positioning, product line evolution and product innovation
- Deliver strategic and sales goals including profitable year-over-year growth for assigned accounts
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel 50%
- Ability to leading teams by influencing others (negotiating), interpersonal savvy
- Ability to leading the business by creativity, customer focus
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years’ experience – relevant experience in technical, engineering, sales and general management preferably within the packaging industry, pharmaceutical industry, or med device industry
- Experience with negotiations; strong influencing and persuasion skills
