Job Summary

A non-profit environmental organization has a current position open for a Remote Regional Communications Manager.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Provide strategic communications guidance for the campaign region
• Identify media opportunities and implements media plans and strategies
• Promote conservation priorities in print, broadcast and electronic media

Qualifications Include:

• Attending meetings and maintaining contact with relevant sources
• 5 years in media relations, with some background in grassroots organizing and staff supervision
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Political Science or related field or equivalent
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of environmental issues, environmental policy and the federal electoral and legislative process
