Job Summary
A business process outsourcing company is filling a position for a Remote Regional IT Security Manager in Tampa.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Performing work on client security matters
- Supervising assigned personnel in the conduct of security engineering, project management, and daily activities
- Managing third-party vendors working on the Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Program initiatives
Position Requirements Include:
- Travel up to 25%
- 5 plus years experience as a network engineer or system administrator in a Windows or UNIX environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to install, configure, and secure Microsoft, UNIX, and Network operating systems
- Working knowledge of Network IOS’, routing protocols, and firewall functionality and theory
- Understanding of intrusion detection and intrusion prevention systems
