Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented 1099 Remote Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) who will provide virtual nutrition counseling, diabetes self-management education, and lifestyle coaching, while managing their own availability and ensuring high-quality patient care in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide virtual and telephonic nutrition and diabetes education services to patients through First Stop Health
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition interventions aligned with evidence-based guidelines
- Document services provided using First Stop Health's designated platform and connect patients with appropriate resources and tools
Required qualifications
- Active Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Active Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) credential from the Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education
- 5+ years of relevant clinical experience preferred
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy for diabetes and related health conditions
