Job Summary

An insurance company has an open position for a Remote Registered Nurse Field Case Manager in the Jefferson County Area.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Helping members understand their benefits
• Making outbound calls to assess members' current health status
• Visiting Medicare members in their homes and/or other settings

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Able to be in the field approximately 50% of the time
• 3 years RN nursing experience in a hospital, acute care, home health/hospice, direct care or case management
• Multiple state licensure or ability to obtain multiple state nursing licenses required
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of Alabama
• Computer/typing proficiency to enter/retrieve data in electronic clinical records
• Access to high speed internet (DSL or cable)
