Job Summary
An insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Reinsurance Claims Payment Associate.
Must be able to:
- Make payments on claims entered by claim team members in the system
- Verify required approvals have been obtained prior to processing payment
- Identify open balances
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in accounting or related field or equivalent relevant experience
- Two years of experience in claims payment processing, accounting or insurance support, or related experience
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles
- Good knowledge of computers including Microsoft Excel and Word software
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
