Job Summary
A provider of telehealth services has a current position open for a Remote Release of Information Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Maintain confidentiality and security with all protected information
- Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines
- Ensure seamless and secure access of protected health information
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Associate's Degree required or equivalent in release of information experience
- 1 year experience in mental health medical records department, or related fields
- Experienced use of email, phones, fax, copiers, MS office, and other business applications
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond to requests in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Extreme attention to detail as it relates to accurate information for medical records.
