Remote Release Train Engineer

Job Summary

Championing Agile delivery and operational excellence, the full-time Remote Release Train Engineer will support day-to-day execution of SAFe Agile ceremonies and drive sprint-level delivery discipline for a multi-disciplinary platform engineering team.

Key responsibilities:

• Facilitates Agile ceremonies including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, and Daily Standups to ensure effective sprint operations
• Manages and maintains a prioritized Jira backlog, including story creation and sprint assignment across multiple development teams
• Identifies and drives the removal of blockers, risks, and impediments affecting sprint commitments, while producing necessary reports for stakeholders

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field
• 5 years of experience with Agile delivery, particularly in a federal program environment
• SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification preferred
• Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and Atlassian tooling for sprint management
• Experience supporting federal government programs and enterprise-scale applications in cloud-based or hybrid environments
