Job Summary
An online freelance marketplace is seeking a Remote Reliability Engineering Senior Manager.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Leading the team in engineering resilient, scalable infrastructure
- Forecasting growth and future needs both for engineering resources
- Developing, mentoring and training other SREs on modern methodology
Qualifications for this position include:
- Experience engineering and building large and geographically disperse infrastructure AND
- Platform technologies supporting critical business cloud services
- Deep experience with 24/7/365 distributed-site monitoring and first-response support
- Experience with modern Chaos/Failure Engineering techniques and tools
- Strong experience in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP), cloud data infrastructure
- Ability to write code in at least one language
