Job Summary

A full-service mortgage services company is in need of a Remote Remote Renovation Loan Underwriter.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Review renovation-related documents to ensure they meet agency requirements
  • Evaluate loan applications for risks and various criteria
  • Review new loan files to ensure loan meets investor and program criteria

Required Skills:

  • Must have 2 years of renovation lending underwriting experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong working knowledge of ATR/QM requirements
  • 5+ years of recent mortgage underwriting experience with strong agency guideline knowledge
  • Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of compliance and disclosure requirements
