Remote Research Scientist IV

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Scientist IV to join a collaborative research team focused on early childhood policy and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support research projects on early childhood policy and systems, focusing on childcare and early learning workforce issues
• Design and implement mixed-methods studies using national and state administrative data, as well as qualitative methods
• Conduct advanced statistical analyses and manage large, complex datasets

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience
• PhD in psychology, human development and family studies, educational policy, sociology, or a related field preferred
• Advanced proficiency in dataset management and analytics using Stata, R, or other statistical software
• Experience analyzing national datasets related to early childhood, childcare, or family studies
• Demonstrated experience translating quantitative findings for both academic and non-academic audiences
