Job Summary

A research and advisory firm needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Research Senior Java Full Stack Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and implementing DevOps solutions to deploy Java/J2EE based applications to AWS Cloud
  • Designing, implementing, unit, integration testing and supporting applications developed using Java EE/Spring, SQL and web services
  • Contributing to the review and analysis of business requirements to create technical specifications

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the field of software development
  • 5 - 7 years’ experience in software development
  • Web based application development and deployment experience is required
  • Java EE/Spring, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL experience with a relational database is required
  • Knowledge of integration and web services technologies (HTTP, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON)
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services or ReactJS is required
