Job Summary
A residential real estate company that provides an online real estate database and brokerage services is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Residential Mortgage Loan Closer.
Must be able to:
- Be a part of building the Mortgage Operations function, by providing subject matter expertise and facilitating all aspects of the closing process in accordance with company and program guidelines, policies and procedures
- Collect and review any “at closing conditions”, review settlement statement to ensure all fees have been collected/disbursed, request funding and disbursement of funds
- Review critical funding documents to ensure compliance with loan program requirements
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Thorough, demonstrated knowledge of mortgage loan application procedures, policies, guidelines, and regulations
- 3 - 5 years of experience in residential document preparation, escrow/title company, processing, or mortgage banking preferred
- Ability to provide funding authorization to Title/Escrow Agents
- Solid and detailed knowledge of the following documets: Conventional and FHA/VA Loan; Closing and Legal; Disclosure; Credit and Insurance
- Solid and detailed knowledge of MDIA Disclosure timing and APR rules and TILA/RESPA LE/CDs
- Ability to review and prepare disclosures, including Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure
