Job Summary

A financial services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Residential Real Estate Mortgage Underwriter.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Functioning as a technical resource to Loan Officers and Loan Managers
  • Entering complete and accurate data in systems to ensure data integrity
  • Underwriting FNMA and FHLMC Products within credit and quality standards

Position Requirements Include:

  • This job will require NMLS & state specific licensing
  • Minimum five years of mortgage underwriting experience
  • Experience with AUS underwriting methods including DU and LP
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and automated underwriting systems
  • Good working knowledge of mortgage loan processing and relevant legal regulations
