Job Summary
A healthcare company has an open position for a Remote Respiratory Therapist in Alton.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Providing respiratory therapy services as prescribed by the physician
- Providing in depth patient/caregiver education of respiratory home equipment and supplies to new and existing patients
- Following policies and procedures and conforming to all applicable patient care standards, licensure regulations and state laws
Qualifications for this position include:
- Certification as Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT)
- Current and unrestricted license as a CRT/RRT in the state of practice
- Current and unrestricted license as an RRT in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
