Job Summary

A healthcare company has an open position for a Remote Respiratory Therapist in Alton.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Providing respiratory therapy services as prescribed by the physician
• Providing in depth patient/caregiver education of respiratory home equipment and supplies to new and existing patients
• Following policies and procedures and conforming to all applicable patient care standards, licensure regulations and state laws

Qualifications for this position include:

• Certification as Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT)
• Current and unrestricted license as a CRT/RRT in the state of practice
• Current and unrestricted license as an RRT in the state of practice
• Current CPR certification
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
