Job Summary

A retail company has an open position for a Remote Retail Applications Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing software and systems to support the business
  • Taking leadership role in guiding projects through the complete software development life cycle
  • Managing tasks and resources while utilizing modern project management principles

Qualifications Include:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years of software development experience utilizing Java, JavaFX/Swing, Spring (Boot/Batch) experience
  • Experience in database design best practices; familiarity with both RDBMS and NoSQL design patterns
  • Experience with continuous build / integration systems like Jenkins
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Solid understanding of change management systems (Git / Mercurial / Subversion)
