Job Summary
A financial services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Retail Associate Counsel.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Reporting directly to the Retail Counsel and assist in all legal/retail matters
- Assisting in day-to-day matters such as processing Campaign Agreements, amendments and contributing to the playbook and various other legal documents
- Processing of complex legal documents
Qualifications for this position include:
- BA/BS degree; JD degree
- 1-2 years of relevant legal experience (preferably at a startup, a leading law firm, a securities regulator (i.e., FINRA/SEC), or in-house counsel
- Passed the bar in NY or CA
- Adaptability and a willingness to work on a broad range of matters and take on projects outside of core areas
- Experience in Regulatory filings or corporate processing of complex legal documents
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with sound business judgment and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
