Job Summary
A developer of meditation products has a current position open for a Remote Revenue Accountant.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Reviewing customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment in accordance with ASC 606
- Validating contract information entered in Salesforce against the client executed contract to maintain data integrity and accuracy in CRM
- Developing reconciliation procedures, reports and reconciliation schedules for customer aging, trial balance, and deferred/recognized revenue
Qualifications for this position include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with 4+ years of relevant experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) or software companies
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Big 4 experience is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, match, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal, and customer service skills
