Remote Revenue Cycle Management Specialist Authorization

Job Summary

A provider of high quality care and support solutions is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Revenue Cycle Management Specialist Authorization.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Obtaining authorizations from payers and uploading to the applicable document repository
• Identifying authorization issues and contact payer representatives to correct as needed
• Utilizing payor portals, MCO provider phone lines and email to communicate and resolve authorization issues

Qualifications for this position include:

• Self-motivated
• Strong communication skills, oral and written
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• High School diploma or GED
• 1-2 years’ experience of revenue cycle management or billing experience in the healthcare field
