Job Summary
A provider of high quality care and support solutions is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Revenue Cycle Management Specialist Authorization.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Obtaining authorizations from payers and uploading to the applicable document repository
- Identifying authorization issues and contact payer representatives to correct as needed
- Utilizing payor portals, MCO provider phone lines and email to communicate and resolve authorization issues
Qualifications for this position include:
- Self-motivated
- Strong communication skills, oral and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- High School diploma or GED
- 1-2 years’ experience of revenue cycle management or billing experience in the healthcare field
