Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Revenue Specialist in Oakland.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow-up with insurance carriers on underpaid claims by phone and complete follow-up actions as advised
Research claim variances in hospital patient accounting systems and identify payer-specific issues
Draft appeals to insurance carriers on denied or underpaid claims and review claim details for discrepancies

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management
Experience with underpayments and retrospective utilization of EMR for research
Strong computer skills, including Excel and EMR experience
Background in a facility/hospital setting
Work from home/remote work experience
