Job Summary

A health insurance company is in need of a Remote Rheumatology Appeals Medical Director.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Support clinicians to ensure timely responses to members/providers
• Provide guidance for clinical operational aspects of a program
• Conduct peer-to-peer clinical appeal case reviews

Qualifications for this position include:

• M.D. or D.O.
• Board certification in Rheumatology approved by the ABMS
• Possess an active unrestricted medical license to practice medicine where applicable
• 10 years of clinical experience or any combination of equivalent education and experience
