Job Summary

A healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Risk Adjustment Coder.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Complying with all legal requirements regarding coding procedures and practices.
  • Communicating with coding companies about coding errors.
  • Educating internal staff on coding guidelines

Qualifications Include:

  • 5 years’ medical coding experience
  • Experience with the HCC model
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Coding Specialist-Physician-based (CCS-P
  • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
  • Working knowledge of medical jargon and anatomy
