Job Summary

A company providing integrated information technology solutions is in need of a Remote Risk Adjustment Coder in Atlanta.

Must be able to:

• Assign numeric diagnostic codes in medical records for symptoms, diseases, operations and treatment
• Accurately validate and abstract diagnosis codes from provider documentation and medical records
• Analyze and translate medical and clinical diagnoses, procedures, injuries, or illnesses into designated numerical codes, adhering to the CMS Risk Adjustment Models

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Ability to travel to attend two company summits per year in various locations
• AAPC or AHIMA Certification (CPC, CRC, CCS)
• Minimum 1-year coding experience
• Medicare Risk Adjustment experience
• ICD-10-CM proficient
• Ability to follow state and federal regulations as well as internal policies and guidelines while analyzing coding information and medical records
