Job Summary

A healthcare company is filling a position for a Remote RN Utilization Management Coordinator in Sioux City.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Perform integrated concurrent review to identify quality and utilization issues
• Activate the appeal process upon receipt of a non-qualifying determination
• Apply admission, continued stay/ transfer, and discharge criteria to each patient case

Qualifications Include:

• 3 years of acute care clinical experience
• Current Iowa Registered Nurse license
• Competent computer skills
• Demonstrates initiative to improve quality and customer service
• Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule
• Demonstrates the knowledge that patient and workplace safety is a priority
