Job Summary
A software development firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Ruby Go Software Manager in Lehi.
Must be able to:
- Be responsible for the health, performance, stability and scalability of deployed services
- Ensure issues are monitored, tracked, and responded to
- Help set the goals and deliverables of multiple teams
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, with 5+ years leading software engineering teams
- Deep understanding of Service Oriented Architectures, Webstacks, REST, HTTP/HTTPS and SaaS products
- Experience delivering software using an incremental approach
- Have worked on large, complex applications with shared ownership
- Can Identify what needs to be done, collect data, present options and communicate tradeoffs
- Understands horizontal scalability and decomposing a monolithic application into smaller, loosely coupled services
