A website that provides motivational games is filling a position for a Remote Ruby on Rails Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Planning, designing, and implementing software to bring features to life
  • Reviewing the work of fellow engineers
  • Fixing bugs when they inevitably pop up

Required Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of designing & maintaining applications in Ruby on Rails
  • Ability to store data in MySQL or PgSQ
  • Familiarity with non-relational databases
  • Comfort producing and consuming JSON APIs
  • Exposure to containerization (e.g. Docker) and container-orchestration
  • Knowledge of cloud hosting platforms (we use AWS)
